Who are your authors?

John Simpson MAI, CCIM, our CEO and Chief Appraiser, has written three books for the Appraisal Institute, 11 articles for the Appraisal Institute’s Appraisal Journal, and is a nationally known appraiser. He’s been in the appraisal business for sixteen years. Now he adds blogging to his ever growing list of credentials.

Eileen Simpson, a Maryland Licensed Appraiser, who has been actively working in this field for many years and in addition to her appraisal experience, has a decade of brokerage experience under her belt. She has appraised all types of commercial, special-use, and residential properties and is an active lecturer on tax appeals and real estate issues. She’s been blogging for a bit, both in a professional and personal context.

Bethany Kesler is a college student currently serving as an executive assistant to John and Eileen. While she’s studying history as her major, she’s proficient in her IT skills and has been given the title of Blog Master by her employers. She’s taking appraisal trainee courses on the side in order to be a better employee and future appraiser. She has been blogging for almost five years and is intimately knowledgeable about all things internet and blog -related.
