Appraisal Matters Turns 100!

October 14th, 2008 · No Comments

Blogs, not years.  We wouldn’t want to predate Al Gore’s “discovery” of the Internet:)

We’ve been blogging since February 2nd of this year, about eight-and-a-half months.  Considering Eileen has her own personal blog, I’m working on a new book and we already write for a living as part of our appraisal practice, 100 blogs is not too shabby!

For those who might be curious, here’s how our blog stats break out categorized by property type:

Our First 100 Blog Articles

Our First 100 Blog Articles

By reader areas of interest, we have these breakdowns (note that some of these articles overlap with the property types above):

  • Tax appeals - 19 articles (19%)
  • Investment Grade Properties - 7 articles (7%)

So you’ve got us all figured out, right?  We do lots of marina appraisals and tax appeals, sure, but guess again.  I’m ready to roll out lots of new articles on office buildings, hotels/motels and another specialty of mine, industrial buildings (after all, I wrote most of the Appraisal Institutes’s “Appraising Industrial Properties” book).  Don’t worry… I’m not leaving marinas behind.  They’d catch up to me anyway.

Stay tuned!
